CHAKA ZULU

Grandmaster Chaka Zulu has been studying the martial arts since the age of 11. He holds black belt ranks in the arts of Tae Kown Do, Judo, Sanuces Jiu-jitsu, and Nisei Goju karate.

His life experiences have affected the evolution of Zujitsu-ryu, the style he created in 1984. Experiences with the United States Marine Corp, private investigation work, and bodyguard responsibilities of notables such as General Douglas MacArthur have shaped his worldview as a martial artist.

Zulu's contribution to the martial arts as a teacher lies in his unique teaching style, geared toward improving a student's development as a martial artist and not creating a clone of the instructor.

What is Zujitsu?

Zujitsu is a modern, effective blending of fighting styles developed by Grandmaster Chaka Zulu for self defense and street combat.

Zujitsu is strictly self defense. There are 3 priorities in this system.

Fighting multiple opponents - These days attackers come like grapes, in bunches...

Fighting blind - If someone breaks into your home in the middle of the night, more than likely you won't have time to turn on any lights.

Gearing our fighting towards our old age - when we become 70 or 80 years old we will not have the same strength and power we had at 30 years old, but we have the ability to control and manipulate anyone if we train for it.
