shakers, caxixi, shekere and various rattles
sounds of nature - birds and wind
bird spirit, bird song, natural harmony.
2) RAIN DRUM - 04:02
Frame drum and nature sounds - rain.
Patterns of structure and chaos dancing,
rain falling down.
Temple bell and wind chimes.
Morning bell, destroying hell.
Keyborads - (shakuhachi and wind chimes)
Lonely flute, the mounatin's echo.
Keyboards - (drums, vibes and flutes) with electric lead guitar.
Forward motion, outward expantion.
Keyboards - (percussion, bass, drums,
synth's with lead on synth woodenflute).
All streams flow to the ocean.

The joful acrobat.

“Father Heaven, Mother Earth”
was recorded over a one year period between 2006 and 2007 .
On this recording I chose to perform all the music myself and apart from my release “songs of a distant planet” this is the only other recording to date where I do that.
In a way this allowed me to be more focused on my own internal process, and the work became the expression of a personal prayer.
In the music and nature sounds there is still this dance between structure and chaos. I find that no matter how chaotic or random it becomes, there is always a form, or pattern that reveals itself in it. Through the patterns and structure of the music I have afforded myself a place to breath, expand and explore through improvisations on keyboards, guitar and percussion. I feel a certain maturity and openness in these improvisations. They have continuity and a real element of storytelling coming through them.
In listening to it,
I find that The overall feeling of the music is both lively and yet calming.
So It is with great joy and the spirit of aloha that I offer you this musical prayer.
